2 NST R&D project (FY 2023-2024) under Ministry of Science and Technology on Effectiveness of non-chlorine sanitizers to improve the microbial hygiene of wet market poultry slaughterhouses and processing environment 2023-2024
Achievements:
  • Awarded as Biosafety hero for contribution in Covid-19 pandemic control-at Annual Conference of Bangladesh BIosafety Biosecurity Society (30-31 december, 2022)
  • Awarded 2nd best poster by International Committee on Food Microbiology and Hygiene (ICFMH) named “Hygiene Assessment along the Production Line of Flexi Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC) Manufacturing Company Intended to Use for Food” at 4th International Conference of Asian Food Safety and Security Association (2018), Siam Reap, Cambodia.
  • Awarded the National Science and Technology Fellowship (for Ph.D. Program; 2013-2014), from Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
  • Awarded the National Science and Technology Fellowship (for M.S Program; 2009-2010), from Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
  • Awarded the prestigious Deans Award (Biological Science Faculty) from the University of Dhaka.
  • Awarded the scholarship of National Board of Higher Secondary Certificate for outstanding result in HSC for 4 years from 2006 to onward.

About Us

The centre is located near the Science Complex (Mukarram Hussain Khundker Biggan Bhaban) and is housed in a ten-storied building with a floor area of 10,000 sft in each floor.
